Friday May 9th. Metepenagiag is celebrating Mom’s at our Mother’s Day Assembly!Come on down to the school this Friday at 1pm. We will have special performances from all the students.After the performances there will be FREE professional Family photo’s with mom and while you’re there, jump into our SunFM ‘Selfies with Mom’ Booth. Grades 3 to 6 have been conducting STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) experiments in Ms Ullock's class. Students need your help; they would love for you to take their surveys in relation to their experiments. The students have created the survey's in 'Google Forms'.   "NSER's Native Education Advisory Team (NEAT) is hosting its 3rd Annual Cultural Awareness Powwow TODAY beginning at 1:00pm with the Grand Entry. Drummers and dancers from New Brunswick and Quebec will be showcasing the beauty and strength of Mi'kmaq Culture through song, dance and ceremony. There are many activities planned sure to make for an enjoyable afternoon filled with laughter and fun for all ages. All parents and their families are encouraged to attend. Authentic Native Arts and Crafts will be for sale for anyone wishing to commemorate the event.
