    As a way of recognizing the former First Nation students who attended residential school, the losses they experienced and the impacts that the residential schools had on their lives, Anglophone North will celebrate Orange Shirt Day on Wednesday, September 30th .  Students and staff are invited to don an orange shirt as a sign of their commitment that every child matters.  Stay tuned for events that schools will do to mark this important day.  Please follow the link to watch a short video explaining the significance of Orange Shirt Day.

Everyone is invited to sell items, provided you reserve a table for $10. ASD-N Students! Does your teacher have a classroom or subject web page that supports your classroom experience? The School’s Basketball team will be participating in a Basketball Jamboree at Dr. Losier school THIS Thursday, February 12th. Metepenagiag will have two games: 5:30pm - Metepenagiag VS Napan7:30pm - Metepenagiag VS Esgenoopetitj No outdoor shoes are permitted in the Dr. Losier gym, including spectators.There will be a Canteen up and running, along with 50/50 draws at Dr. Losier school.  We encourage friends & family to come cheer on Metepenagiag!Permission forms went home Feb 9, please complete & return them ASAP. G O   M E T E P E N A G I A G   W A R R I O R S!

 February 6th and February 7th Metepenagiag School is offering professional basketball clinics by Longshots Basketball.  Metepenagiag School is hosting professional basketball clinics by Longshots Basketball, from Moncton. These coaches have ran basketball camps and clinics internationally! In addition, former Moncton Miracles player Matt Robertson is one of our coaches. On Friday February 6th – the clinic will be for Metepenagiag students in grades 3-6 only. It will run from 2:45 - 4:15pm.

This week students will be participating in The Hour of Code.    Student's will be learning to code their own 'Angry Birds' Game.
