  "NSER's Native Education Advisory Team (NEAT) is hosting its 3rd Annual Cultural Awareness Powwow TODAY beginning at 1:00pm with the Grand Entry. Drummers and dancers from New Brunswick and Quebec will be showcasing the beauty and strength of Mi'kmaq Culture through song, dance and ceremony. There are many activities planned sure to make for an enjoyable afternoon filled with laughter and fun for all ages. All parents and their families are encouraged to attend. Authentic Native Arts and Crafts will be for sale for anyone wishing to commemorate the event.

MANGO Mania WEEK #4 Always wash hands before preparing or eating a snack. This is the one of best ways to prevent food spoilage and contamination. Wash all fruits and veggies under cold running water. Clean all lunch boxes, thermal bags, plastic utensils and containers in hot soapy water.

Did you know that fruit drinks, pop, and sports drinks usually contain lots of added sugar, very few vitamins and may contain caffeine?  For example, one 700ml bottle of sports drink has 10 teaspoons of sugar – the same amount in one can of pop.
