Wednesday is “Pizza Day” – Free Pizza for all Students at lunch. It is also “PJ” Day, come to school in your favorite pajamas and slippers.

Tuesday Feb 15th is “Literacy Day”; students are encouraged to dress up as a Character from their favorite book on this day.  Characters in Robert Munch books are usually a fun and easy way to dress up without having the large expense. We will also be having Patricia Knockwood from the Bookmobile to visit the students and do a presentation for the kids.  Guest readers will be coming in that afternoon to read to our students.

Monday is Red and White Day!  Wear Red, White or both! Students will exchange Valentines in the afternoon. Our King and Queen draws will occur in the Morning. Remember ..this week is HOMEWORK FREE for Students.

K-4 Students will attend classes in the afternoon on Monday February 14th. The bus will pick Students up at 12:30 pm( approx.) Students will be exchanging Valentines in the afternoon.

Friday, February 4, 2011 will be Jersey Day here at Metepenagaig.  Wear your favorite team jersey to support the Miramichi Pond Hockey Tournament.  Please click on the link below for more information. Metepenagaig School will be going to the Miramichi Civic Centre on Tuesday, February 8th at 9:00 am to skate. Parents are welcome to attend!

Students will return to class on Tuesday, January 11th for the first time in 2011.  Teachers will be working in the Miramichi on Monday and thus the extra day for students to enjoy their break.  See you on Tuesday!
