On February 23rd, Metepenagiag students and staff will be celebrating Bully Awareness Week by wearing a pink shirt.  Pink Shirt Day began in Nova Scotia where two students stood up to bullying in their high school.  A male student was bullied for wearing a pink shirt to school.  These students showed their support for him by buying pink shirts and encouraging other students to wear them.
