Wednesday, November 7th students had the opportunity to learn about Moose Hunting.
Ronnie Ward was generous enough to take time out of his day to talk to students about the importance of hunting for food, ethical Moose kills, the respect we pay to Mother Earth with Tobacco offerings after we kill an animal, different parts of the animal and their uses.
The moose was already cleaned in the woods, however students were still able learn how to skin the animal.
Students were thrilled to have an opportunity to learn about Moose Hunting; part of their Mi’kmaq culture.
